What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work properly and, where enabled, help us understand how it's being used.
Cookies we use
Our Site is hosted on Shopify, which sets essential cookies needed for the Site to function. These are always active and can't be switched off if you want to shop with us. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the Site is used and measure the performance of our advertising, as described in the table below. Our Site may also show a pop-up offering a discount when it detects you're about to leave a page — this uses your browser's local storage, not a cookie, purely to avoid showing it again too soon, and doesn't collect any personal information.
| Cookie / Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration | How to control it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify cart & checkout cookies | Essential | Keep track of your cart and let you complete checkout | Session to 2 weeks | Required for shopping on the Site; can't be disabled |
| Shopify security cookies | Essential | Fraud prevention and load balancing across Shopify's servers | Session to 1 year | Required for the Site to work securely; can't be disabled |
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics) |
Analytics | Helps us understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, general location, device type) | Up to 2 years | Use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings |
_fbp (Meta Pixel) |
Marketing | Helps us measure how well our Facebook/Instagram ads are performing | Up to 90 days | Manage this in your Meta ad preferences, or block third-party cookies |
Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. This generally applies across all sites you visit, not just ours. Keep in mind that blocking essential cookies will stop you from being able to add items to your cart or check out on our Site.
Do we respond to "Do Not Track"?
We don't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there's no single agreed standard for how sites should interpret them.
How this fits with our Privacy Policy
This Cookie Policy covers cookies specifically. For how we handle your personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we enable a new analytics or advertising tool. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
