South Indian and Gujarati staples, not just the general aisle
Share
A lot of Indian grocery ranges, in Sydney and elsewhere, default to a general north Indian assortment: the same atta, the same handful of dals, the same familiar snack brands. If your household cooks South Indian or Gujarati, that default range often leaves out exactly the items you're actually shopping for.
What we mean by "the general aisle"
Every Indian grocery store carries a broad set of staples that work across most households: rice, wheat flour, common lentils, everyday spices. That's real and useful, and it's most of any catalogue, ours included. But regional cooking has its own specific ingredients on top of that base, and a lot of stores stop at the general layer.
South Indian staples, stocked as their own category
Rice varieties, dals, and spice blends specific to South Indian cooking are tagged and organized as their own part of our range, not folded into the general spices shelf and left to be found by accident. If you're shopping for a South Indian household, this is meant to be findable directly, not a search-and-hope exercise.
Gujarati staples, the same way
Gujarati households have their own specific pantry too: particular dals, snacks, and sweets that a general north-Indian-leaning range often treats as a niche add-on rather than a real category. We stock it as its own range for the same reason as South Indian: it shouldn't be an afterthought.
Where we're still building
We're not claiming even coverage across every regional cuisine yet. Bengali, Nepali, and a few other regional ranges are thinner right now than South Indian and Gujarati. If you don't see what you're after, message us on WhatsApp and ask, we'd rather tell you honestly what we do and don't have than have you order and find out at delivery.
Order it your way
Whatever the list looks like, desi, South Indian, Gujarati, or a mix in one order, send it to us on WhatsApp, a photo or typed message, in whatever language is easiest. Or browse the full catalogue yourself if you'd rather see what's there first.
Send your list
If your usual order needs ingredients a general range doesn't stock, that's exactly what we built this for. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm it back with pricing before anything's charged.
